  1. 2 no. American corn bhutta (salt + 2 cup water)
  2. 1 no. Small potato
  3. 2 tbsp boiled corn kernels
  4. 3 tbsp oil
  5. 1 tsp mustard seeds
  6. 1 tsp cumin seeds
  7. 1 no. Cinnamon piece
  8. 3-4 no. Cloves
  9. 5-7 no. Black peppercorns
  10. 1 no. Bayleaves
  11. 1 no. Big black cardamom
  12. 2 no. Dry red chillies
  13. 1.5 tsp ginger + garlic and green chilly paste
  14. 3 no. Midium size onion paste
  15. 3 no. Midium size tomatoes puree
  16. 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  17. 1 tsp coriander cumin powder
  18. 1/2 tsp garam masala
  19. 1 tsp red chilly powder
  20. 1 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder
  21. Salt as per taste
  22. Water as per required
  23. 1 tsp sugar
  24. 1 tsp lemon juice
  25. 2 tbsp finely chopped green coriander leaves

Steps to make Corn Bhutta Sabji

  1. First of all, peel the husk of the corn and cut it into small pieces. Now add these pieces of corn in the pressure cooker, add water, salt and few corn kernels and potatoes and boil for 5 whistles. Make onion and tomato gravy.
  2. Now heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and cumin seeds and fry it. Now add cinnamon, cloves, black peppercorns, bay leaves, dry red chillies, big cardamom and asafoetida and saute.
  3. After that add ginger + garlic and green chilli paste and saute. Now add onion paste to this and fry for a while. After that add tomato puree to this and mix well and cook.
  4. Now add coriander cumin powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, red chilli powder, Kashmiri red chilli powder and salt to this and mix well and cook till the oil separates. After that add water to it and let it boil on low gas flame. Now add boiled corn pieces and boiled potato to this and mix well and cook.
  5. Now add sugar, lemon juice and green coriander leaves to this and mix well and switch off the flame.
  6. Now our very tasty and spicy corn sabji is ready to serve. Serve this sabji with paratha, roti, rotla or khichdi.
